By the Mighty Tweed

Another beautiful morning for a walk. Just a short one today, from the Union (Chain) Bridge, along the banks of the Tweed and in to the grounds of Paxton House as far as the Well Garden.

Carpets of snowdrops along the way and, in the Garden, primroses, pale-violet coloured primulas and some gorgeous Hellebores in several shades of pink.

Good intentions to work in our garden this afternoon abandoned as the weather turned and the rain came. Back to making Roman blinds then...
