We took a walk up to the disused mines this morning. It was good to get out in the fresh air for a couple of hours, and we timed it perfectly to miss the rain. There was still a little bit of snow lying when we got to the higher parts and it was decidedly wet underfoot when we left the path. Great to have this almost on our doorstep.
