HTM Show

The boys and I have been in Ringsted for a Heelwork To Music/Canine Freestyle competition today.

Beat took the HTM Skills Test level 1 and passed with flying colours. He was a very good boy in the ring and ended with 4,95 points out of 5.

I miscalculated the time completely for Hero’s warm up. I thought 30 mins would be enough to take the dogs for a small walk, change into costume and warm up. I ended up with way too little time to warm up, which mean that Hero missed the first moves of his routine (as not really ready to go into the ring) and generally was a bit OTT. He placed 2nd in the Advanced Freestyle though, which was really well done of him after the preparation I offered him today.

Biscuit was a happy chap in the ring and showed that he has recovered fully from his operation. He did well, but his routine is still very new and I could see today, that there are bits that we need to change and adjust a little. He placed 3rd in the Advanced Freestyle class.

After the competition, the boys and I went on a walk along with Helle and her dogs.

Home now and ready for bed soon. It has been a busy weekend.
Night night, Blippers.
