I was feeling feverish and weak so I thought I had got a touch of flu.

But it turned out to be erysipelas of the ear (also called St. Anthony's Fire, according to my dictionary and 'Wondroos' in Dutch). For the last few days it felt like I had a big hot rubber ear attached to the side of my head.

Now that I am on antibiotics my ear is shrinking back to its normal size and I am feeling much better. Still tired though and feeling a bit shivery.

Anyway ... All this is to explain why here is yet another homebound blip.
