St Clement's Church, Footdee

Went to the cinema today to see Mr Peabody and Sherman, quite a good romp and passed a couple of hours.

When we left the cinema the rain was just coming on however I couldn't resist a wee poke around the Churchyard of St Clement's Church in Footdee. Most of the graves there were for people involved in the Ship Building and Fishing Industries.

It is believed that St Clement's Church, Footdee, Aberdeen, was built in 1828, although recent archaeological excavations in the area suggest that there was a church on the site, or in its vicinity, since the early middle ages.
