The Office

This is my work room. I sometimes read the tales on Blip of city folk who have to commute for an hour or more. Twenty years ago when I lived in London for a while, I would often travel for an hour or ninety minutes to get places on the tube, it was just a part of life.
These days I count myself as very fortunate. Most days, the commute takes me about half a minute, it's just a short walk down the garden path to a converted barn which adjoins the house. It is a spacious place to work with a view of the garden and away from busy roads. Peaceful.
