Early Childhood Education major?

Unfortunately I'm thinking that ship has sailed.

All I had to do was get straight As this semester and I would have been able to get into the early childhood program. I was really trying--all I had to do was bring up a couple Bs and I would've been set. But, silly me, I forgot to write a paper for this BS online course I didn't even sign up for and now it will be nearly impossible for me to get my grade up. This was my last chance and I messed it up.

I have no backup plan. Either I drop out or transfer -- neither of which sound appealing -- but I don't know what to do at this point. I'm already a junior and it's too late in the game just to pick up a major randomly.

I'll be paying for this either through eternal unemployment or debt from student loans until I'm 60.
