Spot the Blipper

Just one of many shots that I am sure will appear today from The Photographic Show at the NEC. John Gravett organised a meet of LPS blippers. Some 25+ were planning on getting together for a chat. In the end there were more than 30.

I still only know a few (and remember the names of even less) - I'm hoping that the various blips will enlighten me a little as to who is who.

I'l apologise now to this who did introduce themselves, but I'm afraid my memory fails to lodge away names when I'm given so many to remember in such a small amount of time.

Just a few that I've met for the first time today but with whom I've exchanged numerous comments over many months. A few I can see here in addition to John is Draco (Dragon - who is anything but!), Graham Colling. PaulaK is here somewhere but I can't see her in this image - she will be there on others I'm sure. I have a couple of here in this small flickr set.

It was great to have a chat with Graham.

It was great to see Gail and Mikey too.

I was hoping to depart without the loss of too much in the way of cash, but sadly that wasn't the case. Have been meaning to change my 055XPROB for a carbon fibre version. Today was the day. Oops. I also got a Lee Lens hood. Just a polariser to get now to complete the minimal landscape set.

I hope to meet up with some of you again soon and exchange comments even sooner.
