Topping up the tan

The pool lizard has caught some colour over the past couple of days. Just compare this shot with that of Tuesday. However, although he may be winning in the tanning stakes, it looks like he has lost the Scrabble series. I beat him again (417 to 387).

Today I read Longbourne by Jo Baker, lent to me by another hotel guest who read it earlier in the week and was keen to share her enjoyment of the book with me. It’s a great read.
