Poppy in the Herb Garden

There are now lots of poppies blooming all over the place. Most of them are red, but some are not plain red.

Today I took my daughter (FirehorseMia) home. She has been such good company. Among other things we talked Blip and had fun looking at journals together. We tend to notice different things, which is to be expected, I guess.

Also I enjoy sharing the cooking. FM's style is more exotic than mine so her meals are a real treat. Then she did a lot of weeding in my garden. It is much tidier now and the cold compost heap has become a significant hill in the landscape. The downside of this, of course, is that hawkers may start calling again.
