Year Two, Day Thirty Eight - Healing

Another vet trip after work and this time he got the bandages off! You can see the extent of the damage. There is a stitch to the left and some to the right but there is also one in the middle that is hard to make out.

The side of the pad is still slightly pink as it heals but it is looking good! You can also see one of the pressure sores from there bandage on his ankle. Poor soul! He has to wear the cone all the time now so he doesn't pull the stitches out!

Meanwhile I have a bright red nose form blowing it all day! I was in my bed at 8.30 - never heard of! My gums are aching and feel swollen and I have an incredibly sore throat... cough, cough!
