Worshipping the Sun

It was sunny when I went out early this morning, a little chilly but otherwise a lovely spring morning. These crocuses had been in tight bud when I found them the other day, but yesterday's sunshine must have tempted them to open and today they were soaking up the sun in all their glory. By the time I returned home the sky had greyed over and there were spots of rain falling.
