Conjunctivitis again :-(

I turned the volume down on the alarm on my phone last night, obviously too much, as I overslept this morning, and didn't wake up until 7.45 am, Eva was just stirring.

Today's pic shows me taking a photo on the camera overlooking Eva's cot, as she is kneeling up looking for me :-) xxx

Sure enough, Eva's eyes were all gunky still, so she wouldn't be allowed in nursery unless she had medication for conjunctivitis. I got us both ready quickly and Eva had some milk, then we waited until the doctors opened at 8.30 to ring and make us an appointment for this morning, only to discover their phones weren't working. I grabbed our coats and Eva's nursery bag and drove down there, expecting to get seen soon, seeing as I got us there for 8.40am, to discover all their appointments had already gone for the morning, and to come back at the end of surgery and wait. So frustrating. I brought Eva back home, managed to get some work done, but then was back to the doctors for 12, then the chemist to get the drops, then finally nursery. Each time we went to the next place, Eva fella sleep in the car, as this was obviously her usual sleep time by now, poor babba. She was so tired. I got the drops that were prescribed, but also some oilatum for her bath and some cream as the dry skin on her tummy and back is getting worse and she's started scratching it more.

It was sleep time at nursery when we arrived and it was so cute seeing all the little babies asleep awwww.

Debbie pulled me to one side when we got there, to tell me she was leaving on Wednesday, and had wanted to tell me before, it was such a shock. Considering how she has helped Eva settle in and the smile that appears on Eva's face when she sees Debbie, I will admit that I got quite choked as Debbie was telling me, and a couple of tears did escape, she has been so lovely and although the others are lovely too, I did feel a bit panicked for Eva, as it's always Debbie that Eva wants. I know she'll be fine.

I came home and proper cracked on with work, then went to fetch Eva around 5.30. she was lying in the rocker just chilling, all she'd had was 20 mins sleep at sleep time, despite how shattered she'd been when I dropped her off.
