Garden Project No 1 Day 2

Day two of the path project, digging out the soil. Easier said than done, the day got hot, too hot to dig, so waited for the afternoon to cool down. Got into the digging mode later in the day(red circle) tree roots and lumps of concrete that slowed down progress. The white box the area dug out to a depth of 15 cm, the earth was as hard as concrete, really hard to get the spade into. so about a quarter done. I'm quite pleased with my progress, Tomorrow will be a rest day as the weather will probably turn it into a muddy paddling pool. My back will need the rest anyway.
