SATIN BOWER BIRD Bub.....
...... way back in August last year in fact on the 24th we came across a Bower birds nest in the bush near home.
On and off lately have seen the Mum flitting around, and when Walking Wombat posted this recently, I made the comment to her that I had just missed getting the Mum feeding a bub in our grevillea branches.
Well, here we are on a wet Sunday arvo thinking what to Blip and in pops the bub right up into the portico looking through the back door. Hopped around a bit checking things out then up onto the retainer wall having a grand ole time!
Chose this one for today just prior to it flying off, as it shows the blue tinge coming into its eye/s.
Just great to think your yard is chosen as a "training" ground by Mum.
Enjoy, and have a look in LARGE.
