Blossom

1st March, and I'm another year older. A good day, though, enjoying a long leisurely lunch out with my wife and daughter. The only downside is that alcohol at lunchtime slows me down for the rest of the day!

It was a beautiful sunny day today and, as so often on my birthday over the last few years, the blossom on the cherry trees lining our road has suddenly burst out. This is always a welcome sign of spring, and the road will look wonderful in a week or two when the blossom is fully out.
