La Bataille de Fleurs

First full day of our Carnival weekend in Nice, and today's parade was 'the Battle of the Flowers', a succession of floats with lovely young ladies in pretty dresses throwing flowers into the crowd.

As well as being a tourist, I'm trying to use the carnival as the subject of my latest photo degree assignment. I was slightly over-eager with the Burst Mode today and ended up with nearly 700 images to edit down from :-/

Anyway – at least the weather held.
