Street musicians

Not the first time a lorry is parked here for a few days, and we never knew why. Finally today it became clear. It is linked with the material from orchestras which come to play in the famous Salle Pleyel nearby.

The Salle Pleyel calls itself a legendary landmark and here is the link to its history. Built in 1927 by the Pleyel piano manufacturer, an enormous building with 3'000 seats. Damaged by fire only 9 months after, change of owner ... and becoming THE concert location in Paris in the mid 20th century.

Today on the program is "Fantasia en concert", playing the great classics from Disney films by the Orchestre National de Lyon, conducted by Frank Strobel.
