After a hundred or so Blips decided it was time to learn from a professional.

So attended digital camera day at Stevenallanimages.com studio in Glasgow.

"So that's what this is for" was my stock phrase, in a day of discovery about a camera I have owned for about 10 years.

But photography for me will never be about spending hours waiting for the light. It must be an instant record of a moment in time, not Hollywood production.

Today helped me understand the basics that will help me record the instant a little bit better.
