Nature Play

As many of you know 'Nature Play' and greening up playgrounds are something that is very important to me. So today I was at Preston Street School for a wonderful talk with Juliet Robertson called 'Concrete Jungle Concrete learning'.
Preston Street School are working hard to improve their grounds, these changes are being led by the parents, with consultation of pupils and staff strongly in support-a good situation.
As you can see simple changes like wood cookies, and bark chips, instantly improve a uninspired piece of tarmac. Also you will notice what a very urban area this is, so introducing natural items is very important for these children.
