Lucky Bird !

This little Greenfinch had a rather too close encounter with the kitchen window this morning ! Lucky for him I acually saw it happen and heard it (OUCH) so I was quick to the rescue....I picked him up and held him for 45min while stroking his back ... he was in total shock & after 45 min started to move about in my hand so I brought him outside and held him for anothe few min until he took off like a bat out of hell and landed in the tree at the end of the garden......... I love a happy ending ! I'm sure he has been back to the feeder several times since !
