Stayed the night at Aunty Liza and Lorna's house x

Eva was originally just going to Aunty Liza and Lorna's house for the afternoon while I was at Karen's baby shower, as Mike had hockey. It then turned into her Daddy dropping her there around 10.30 before hockey, as I booked a hair appointment for 9.30 am, and turned into Eva ending up stopping the whole night too.

Mike and I had no plans for tonight, so when Liza text and kept saying she wanted Eva to stay the night, I thought it seemed silly if we weren't going out, but Eva was happy and Liza really wanted her to stay, that I said "ok" in the end. Plus I thought it is ultimately good for Eva if she is happy staying overnight at my sisters for the future. My hairdresser said this morning that her 9 year old son never stayed anywhere and now he refuses, which makes things difficult at times for her. Liza said Eva was having a great time, hadn't cried even once and was just all smiley and playing with her toys and crawling round everywhere. I don't let her crawl on our hall and kitchen/diner floor because I think it's unhygienic with the cats being in and out of litter trays, so Eva was in her element crawling off wherever she wanted. My mom was round at my sisters in the afternoon too, so Eva got to see Nanny aswell.

Mike and I just stayed in, had a few drinks and watched most of the film, Cloud Atlas, but I couldn't keep my eyes open til the end, so was in bed asleep by 11pm.

It felt very strange Eva not being here, but I knew she was in excellent hands. Xxx
