For the Street Food Bank
This evening a concert was held in Street Quaker Meeting House, entitled "Bach, Buddha, and the Beatles", with a lovely cello & keyboard performance (that included Bach and the Beatles!) and a film about eight Tibetan monks making a beautiful sand mandala in Glastonbury.
It was in aid of the Street Food Bank, and those who came were asked to contribute in cash and kind. The organisers hopefully put out three recycling containers for the food contributions - and could have put out twice or thrice as many!
