"On the Track to Nowhere" . . . . .
Was out and about, checking around the place i grew up, (have moved back to my hometown after 27yrs) and i came across this railway track. I sat there and thought about how lonely the Train Drivers must get when they are in the middle of nowhere, and they don't have any traffic to contend with.
Im a ex truck driver and i use to drive interstate, and about 6000+ Kms a week, and even though we had cars and other trucks on the road, it use to be a very lonely job. I took this photo, trying to capture the remoteness, loneliness and sheer emptiness of a Train Drivers view and life.
