Wool Carder Bee

Well I have got myself a new Lens., a Canon EF 300mm f/4L IS USM.
Its been a bit disappointing as Im finding noise to be a bit of an issue. Ive pretty much illuminated it by using a tripod but its still not 1oo% noise free. Although it was pretty windy today as well. I want to get myself a monopod so I can be a bit more flexible.
Anyway this little bee is an aggressive little blighter and when I first came across them I wasn't able to get anywhere near as I would have liked as they kept chasing me off. LOL! The 300mm certainly made it easier to capture it. They are I think very pretty. Their eyes look like liquid metal.
