Silky Clyde

It had been a dreich day until the late afternoon sun started playing on the silky Firth of Clyde, as seen from the high road between West Kilbride and Ardrossan. Horse Island is visible, with its old lighthouse, and the ancient volcanic plug of Ailsa Craig is on the horizon.
