Friday: Musician

We are sorely aware that every time we go on a touristic excursion we head west, not east.  We have now rectified that and have headed east to Slavonia, an area that is as rich in heritage and history as the coast.

We are now in Osijek, a very lovely Austro-Hungarian town, close to the Serbian border, with some great architecture.  It has a great old town, well worth visiting.  Dinner was in a lovely restaurant with wandering musician types, but..........our grilled food (grill being a popular food choice) was not overwhelming in that it tasted somewhat of petrol.......
