Stirling Castle

A day trip to Stirling today - where it poured - but was still lovely for a wander around, some lunch & shopping. Stirling Castle is one of my favourite castles, but still not sure about the new bit. This was taken from the Ladies Rock at the Old Town Cemetery, fascinating place. Note the unexpected magpie in the bottom left, which I didn't notice until choosing a blip. Don't worry, there were two of them, as deliberately caught in other shots.

Also spotted the Kelpies from the train. Have decided I need to see them close up to make up my mind about them, so will be booking a visit.
