The Long Road

This piano was in the library, I was there tonight working with a student.
She is a senior, she slightly overwhelmed at the moment with all her school work.

she was telling me how hard her road ahead will be. College applications, her current studies, etc...

I spotted the Piano, I needed a blip, so when I had a moment I went over to blip it. She says "what are you doing?"

"long story, this is my homework, a pic a day, trying to make something this plain, a bit more interesting." I say.

I showed her the pic on my camera, she says
"cool, it looks like a long road"

funny, as I thought about it more, I think it's a good thing to have a long road ahead. imagine the alternative... a sudden end to the road?
