But what does it *mean*?

I enjoy expressing some of my own brand of creativity. But I am certainly no artist....

There's a lot of street-art near where I live. This is an example I pass by often. I don't know why I stopped to look at it today in particular, but I found myself wondering - what does it mean?!

Three blind mice on a pink elephant balancing on a precarious tree trunk...

Ok. Is there some sort of message I'm missing here? Something like "the straw (or in this case mice) that breaks the camel (elephant)'s back"? Or is it just a nod to the random nature of things?

Thoughts, anyone?
