Another Year... Not Me!

We were having our traditional gathering for J's birthday dinner at the Thai Orchid in Edinburgh tonight, J's birthday is near but it isn't actually today.

The food was pretty good at the restaurant, a lot of the food on the menu had 3 orchids on them (meaning very spicy). I had a nice deep fried haddock in a red Thai paste as a starter and a sea bass curry for the main. Couldn?t complain about the food at all, when they brought out the cake, they had this weird looking tree thing which danced about and sang Happy Birthday!

Its been a very good night, J loved her pressies and I'd like to thank all our friends for coming out once again! Another birthday to come next month and another dinner... yum!

Oh, I had to carry this cake from Leith to the Royal Mile today!
