to be a butcher. In Norman's case it definitely helps. The whole team at Thomason's Butchers on Station St are wonderful characters. Norman picks all sorts of berries during the season as a bit of a hobby and makes jams from them. He also swaps some with Linda for the occasional six pack of Tennent's lager. Even though he's a Geordie, he likes Scottish lager. He's got great taste :-)
