Steak night

This is the best butcher in Malmesbury. It's so great to have a butcher you can go to and ask questions about cuts and cooking. God, don't I sound old?

I went in today because hubby had a hankering for a nice steak. He's having a T-bone and I'm having fillet. Yum.

I don't very often ask strangers if I can take their picture but I plucked up the courage. I was thinking of converting this to mono but actually I liked the colourful meat and apron.

I've had a lovely day. My friend came over with her baby for a chat. She'll be returning to work soon and then we'll be working together again.

I also heard that the Northern Lights were seen this far south last night but I've asked a few people today and no one had seen them here. I don't mind so much if they weren't visible here but I'll be really sore if they were and I missed them!

Hospital visit tomorrow and then a christening Sunday. Have a good weekend everyone.
