Surprise

This is Ruby our youngest grandchild, we were blowing bubbles in this shot she kept trying to catch them and was so surprised they popped every time she caught one, she giggled and laughed, it was so funny.
This was at the end of my day.

My day started with dropping Jaxon into school this morning it was his first school assembly as a member of the school council, he was elected to make some school announcements, of course I stayed to watch the whole assembly until it was the student councils turn to step up on stage right at the end, Jaxon did well he announced the winning faction for the week (he even had to say "quiet please" as the winning faction cheered out loud when they knew they were the winners) and he hadn't finished his other announcement, I felt such a proud Nan.

After the assembler I drove to Yanchep for Ruby, a surprise was waiting, Deklan had a pupil free day, which meant he too could come for a play today at Nan's.
We played all day, it didn't cool down until after 4pm which meant we couldn't go in the park until then, but we made it eventually, then their daddy came to collect them.

It's a long weekend for most Australians as it's Labour Day Monday a public holiday, also known as Eight Hours Day in Tasmania and May Day in the Northern Territory, it commemorates the granting of the eight-hour working day for Australians.
It also recognizes workers’ contributions towards the nation’s economy. It is an annual public holiday and its date varies across the states and territories.
