Not the Northern Lights (2)

Got very excited last night, claims and photos from Whitley Bay of the Northern Lights. So I jumped in the car at 10.45pm, drove out to the coast, where there was hundreds of people looking out in the pitch black, over to St Mary's Lighthouse. It was like a scene from 'Close encounters' but in the dark! Stood in the freezing cold for over two hours but, unfortunately, nothing to be seen! Ever optimistic, I will try again but maybe not tonight!
