Hielanman's umbrella not required today

Sun is shining through the umbrella today!!

This glass walled railway got its name in the 1920's when the highlander men and women (Hielanman's) came to Glasgow to find work in the second Highland Clearances. They would meet up here and shelter under the bridge when the rain hits Glasgow.

They don't meet here anymore but the bridge is still fondly called that.
