Birthday Bouquet

Had to get up early this morning to travel South - Lancashire in fact. Tried to get some shots of birds in the trees in my sister's garden - it is amazing she gets more birds in her garden in the city (Glasgow) than I do living in the country! She gets foxes and grey squirrels as well! I've never seen a fox in the fields around my house never mind in my garden. That really annoys me - I suppose the city is attractive to foxes because people feed them! However - calamity! - my Canon camera has started to show a lens error message and refused to perform outdoors! It would work indoors and so I've captured one of my sister's many Birthday Bouquets for today's blip. Over the weekend I am attending a residential German language course in Alston Hall. Bit nervous about that as we are not allowed to speak English at all! Just hope I don't become tongue-tied:-( Not sure about blips - that will depend on whether I can get on the internet.
