Something pink

Clearly this photo doesn't hold up at all to today's theme. But in truth I don't inhabit a particularly pink world. The women in my life are not pink at all, and neither am I.

However as I explained here I am using the challenge themes largely as therapy, so I don't feel the need to be totally constrained by them (which is just as well -- Friday's theme is 'shadows' and the weather forecast holds out little hope on that score). SO instead here's a picture of some new blooms, complete with approximate focus
