Day 1 (Contemplating a New Start)

OK, so today we did go to school, and the land of soggy boots and wet trousers gives way to the more orderly confines of the classroom. Oh, and we did have to buy snow gear up there, so the soggy boots and wet trousers are a thing of the past too.

School starts at 9:15am which is way more civilized for the kids, a bit more of a challenge for us, but OK.

In the office everyone was nice, one of the moms chatted to Eryn while we were waiting, and then, into the new classroom and meet the principle, the teacher and Eryn was assigned a buddy with matching personality to help her through the day. Yippee!, what a great idea, and so simple to do. Oh, and she did start on an exam day, but she felt she did more than OK. So day one over, and she felt good about it, holding thumbs 

Oh, Eryn took one look at the people coming down that slope and said "When Daddy?". I see skiing and snow boarding in my immediate future.
