Sentinels of Summer

The cloudless sky was a brilliant blue all this breezy day, and so I didn't really expect much of a sunset, but as the sun neared the horizon, the light took on a most unusual rosy glow.

I was in the house looking for something to blip (and feeling very uninspired) when I noticed the light shining oh-so-prettily in the windows, and as I stepped to the back door the first thing I saw was the shed and these old tiki torches all aglow.

I ran for my camera, shoes and coat (it's freezing out), and got a few shots just before it began to fade.
