Our latest pet

He sits at the top of the stairs; is no trouble; costs nothing; and yet is adorable. I just wish I had the artistic ability to create something so simple yet so effective.

We have had real pets. Mog was a white cat, lovable and loving and not very bright. He loved travelling by car and camping with us when the kids were young. Adrian was a guide dog pup, who was a real handful for the year we had him, but he was a handsome black lab and is now a successful and much loved guide dog to a man living in a country town in Yorkshire.

Mog and Adrian were special. Though I admire the cat on the stairs, he is no match for them.
