Headed out early with RCB on his quest of a different bird species per day in 2014. We decided to head to the pond on the South Inch. He's left some easy ticks for times like these, so we were discussing the possibilities, Black-headed Gull, Common Gull, Coot, Moorhen, Mallard, maybe something a bit more exotic, Starling, Carrion Crow or Magpie, still to be blipped. Took a few Mallard shots then we saw a duck we'd not been expecting on a park pond. Check out RCB's Goldeneye!
So off to the station to catch the train back south and hopefully catch up with my blipping - all 16 days of our trip to Perth. Backblips start here.
