Pigeons on Roseburn Bridge

I was going to publish a photo of the Water of Leith at Coltbridge from the top of the Roseburn bridge. These picture of the pigeons was far more interesting.

As I took the steps down to the Water of Leith path from the top of the bridge, I came across these pigeons roosting on the Roseburn Bridge. Despite the sun, it was a very cold day, with a bitter wind, so they were just hunkering down waiting for the sun to hit the bridge so they could warm up.
