The gardens

After breakfast this morning we took a walk around the gardens accompanied by 2 wild cats that live in the wood shed. This place is amazing and the grounds are spectacular. It was blowy and fresh but was a great end to our stay.

This afternoon we visited my sister who lives about 15 minutes away. Had a lovely lunch with her and her girls catching up on our lives. We get together a lot in a big family group but it was nice to catch up without the madness of 20 odd people.

I have had the most fantastic weekend and feel truly blessed to have such a wonderful man in my life, not just for this weekend but for all the simple everyday things he does too.
