Shed Memories 1; Sindy-Barbie Dolls

After yesterdays lovely garden interlude its back to more mundane things.

I didn’t think you’d want to see the kettle that decided to phut tripping off the electric. So up to town to buy a new one. My what a selection, we just wanted one that boils the water! Then back to shed sorting. Gofer brought in several boxes, mainly the children’s old school stuff. You know what happens – they go off to uni and they just might need their old school notes so into boxes it goes and eventually gets moved to the shed and buried under the next lot of stuff probably uni notes. Time passes. No longer in house share they’ve got their own places but don’t want to clutter it up, please just a little longer! But no longer it has to be ousted and sorted.

We also kept some precious toys thinking grandchildren, so far we’ve got 2 small grandsons, toys , tastes and technology move on, except for a few classics like Lego and Sindy-Barbie. Such happy memories.
I’ll keep the better dolls and clothes a few more years, who knows a granddaughter may come along. I’m glad I kept those old shoeboxes to store them in.
