A frigid and solitary walk in the park!

It was cold this morning, even colder than I realized when I set out for my walk in the park. Turns out the temperature was around 12 degrees Fahrenheit with a wind chill temp of minus 2 degrees. When I come home, I told Bob I was back from my "walk in the Antarctic." A mug of cocoa with two marshmallows on top soon warmed me up though, and filled me up as well.

I stopped by "Carolyn's Corner" and set out a handful of peanut chips, and who should show up but one of my favorite birds. The red-bellied woodpeckers somehow manage to charm me, so despite the cold and the shortness of my walk, I came home with a few keepers. I love the different expressions on his face, so decided to put him into a collage. Hope you like him too.
