Productive day. I bought a Vax carpet cleaner yesterday and set to work this morning. Not bad result at all considering the state of the hall carpet after 10 years of abuse and naughty puppies who don't like going out in the dark or the cold The colour of the waste water was shameful! Pups not amused that after vacuuming there was more cleaning to do. 3 pairs of reproachful eyes watching my every move.

A pleasant walk in the wood this afternoon in the sun on the way to meet another Home Ed mum and daughter. The mum was very encouraging in overcoming my concern about our inspection in July. I know it's a way off but we need to present a good case or we might get a return to school order.

We hadn't seen mum and daughter since November so it was interesting to hear them say how much the dogs had grown since the first time they met in September.
