Big Bird

When you have a big bird you need a big house. To me, this is the most spectacular little park sitting on the edge of Crescent Park in Playa Vista, Los Angeles.

Two identical bird cages with large bird baths, one at either end of the narrow park. A lush green belt separates them.

Behind each are giant topiary birds. They are waiting for the human occupants to leave the park benches inside so that they may go home and rest.

The brilliant yellows and reds stand out so, that you'd have to be... Well me to walk by it two or three times before saying, "Holy cow look at THOSE!"
