Snowdrops before the snow drops

I've been driving past this bank of snowdrops on the lane to the nature reserve for the past few weeks, and really enjoyed the spectacle, but never took a photograph. Snow is forecast for tomorrow for high ground in the Chilterns, which will definitely include this lane. Everyone's talking about it as though winter blizzards are finally going to arrive, but I predict it will be a thin covering of slushy snow that will vanish within hours. But, hey, why should I care - I'm going to be on a plane to South Africa in about 40 hours time...and really looking forward to some sun and heat!
