Catkins

Saw these yesterday at the res, and nipped back in a gap between the showers today to try out a close up shot. I was having difficulty focusing, as the branches were bouncing about in the wind and the catkins wouldn't stay still. However, a neighbour arrived walking his Great Dane - it was suddenly behind me and I jumped a mile - and he kindly offered to hold the branch so I could get my shot.
